Beavertail Lighthouse is one of the most famous lighthouses in Rhode Island. The lighthouse was built in 1856 and sits on the southernmost point of Conanicut Island in Jamestown, Rhode Island. The lighthouse is located within Beavertail State Park which is a public state park that is free to enter. The lighthouse is 64 feet tall and it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
