Chittenango Falls State Park is known for its beautiful 167-foot waterfall. This picturesque feature is the result of glacial sculpting over 400 million-year-old bedrock. Along the trails, you’ll find an intriguing mix of plants and wildlife. Visitors can see the falls from the top, walk into the gorge on the twisting trail, see the falls from the footbridge, then return to the top on the opposite side of the gorge on the little trail. The trail is a 0.5-mile loop and it is good for all skill levels. The park is extremely well maintained.

Fishing, hiking, and picnics are some of the activities available too.

Admission is free for walk-ins, but the vehicle fee is $3 for weekdays and $5 for holidays/weekends. Fee in the off season may not be collected.
