Nauset Light is one of the most famous lighthouses on Cape Cod. If you have ever eaten Cape Cod potato chips, you’ve seen Nauset Light because it is on every package of their chips. The lighthouse is located on the Cape Cod National Seashore near Eastham, MA. The Nauset Light tower was erected in 1923 and the structure was actually a lighthouse from Chatham, MA which was built in 1877. Nauset Light replaced the Three Sisters of Nauset which were decommissioned and now sit a short distance away from Nauset Light. Over the years, the lighthouse has been moved due to coastal erosion and it currently sits on a small hill overlooking the Atlantic. Located below Nauset Light is Nauset Light Beach which is a popular beach in the summer months for swimming and walking.

Fun Fact: The lighthouse was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.
