Raven’s Nest is located on the stunning and lowkey Schoodic Peninsula. The peninsula is part of Acadia National Park, but it is located about 1 hour from Bar Harbor and Acadia’s “main” sights. Many people do not know of Schoodic Peninsula and Raven’s Nest which makes it a great place to take in magical views without a ton of tourists around.
Raven’s Nest is a stunning area that looks out over a dramatic notch in the cliffs. The site features a small stone beach among the otherwise steep and rocky coastline. The vistas of the Mount Desert Narrows and beyond are spectacular!
Raven’s Nest is probably the greatest spot to capture the sunset in Acadia National Park…. or dare I say, all of Maine! You can also get epic Milky Way photos from the site. No matter what time of day or season, you will love this spot!
