Triphammer Falls is a 55-foot (17-meter) waterfall along Fall Creek on the Cornell University campus in Ithaca, New York. The waterfall was once natural, but it was significantly altered in the 19th century to build a dam, resulting in the development of Beebe Lake. The dam can control water flow at a rate of 12–4,700 cubic feet per second. To connect Central and North Campus, a pedestrian bridge was built over Triphammer Falls in 1997. The pedestrian bridge is a great way to check out the waterfall!
