Hogback Mountain and a “100-Mile” View

Hogback Mountain and a “100-Mile” View

Category:

Product Description

At the Hogback Mountain scenic overlook, you can take in the so-called “100-mile view.” I’m not sure if the moniker is simply superlative, but the view is great, especially in the fall. From a large wooden deck, you can see southern Vermont as it transitions into the Berkshire Hills as well as southern New Hampshire, including Mount Monadnock. One of the photos shows (one of) the old lodging cabins from the defunct Hogback Mountain ski resort that sits on the edge of the drop off below this overlook. It might be one of the most photographed sites among the sights here! You can walk down to the cabin and peek inside, but be careful.
