You will find Sandy Neck Light at the entrance of Barnstable Harbor in Massachusetts. First built in 1826 and deactivated in 1931, the house was home to many keepers before it was sold in 1933. In 2007 the lantern room was restored and lighthouse shines once again! The property is not open to the public and is best appreciated from a distance. You can either view the lighthouse by boat or hike the six miles out to the eastern tip of Beach Point from Sandy Neck Beach.
